Label design, package structure

The client desires a minimal design that stands out as different and unique in the GCC and Middle Eastern design trends to enhance the product's visibility on the shelf, especially considering the presence of numerous competitors in the area. In such scenarios, it is advisable to conduct a comprehensive competitor analysis across a wide area. Following this, traditional ideas specific to that area of research should be considered. These traditional ideas should not be dismissed but rather integrated with your own concepts to create a modern minimal design that blends with the cultural and traditional designs present in the market.

Logo design corporates with the other elements

To Do.

Designing logo, symbol and slogan sign, pattern design

The project concerns a rebranding, and the client wishes to have a consolidation of their brand elements, but there is a need for further redesign and development in branding. The design must be one that is flexible and meets all the brand requirements in a competitive market. In certain areas, the market is very traditional and closed, making branding and visuals crucial, along with quality. The client was confident about the quality but not the branding, and they sought a minimal and effective design for their food products brand.

One of the critical products of the brand is a snack bar which is made with sesame. The design receives help from the actual product pattern through micro photography. The pattern is the same as the product when opened. It focuses on the company's confidence in the consistent quality of the product, providing customers with a sense of truth. This is complemented by incorporating vintage Persian window motifs to convey the traditional essence of the product to customers.

The marketing team wishes to explore options for introducing new, sweeter and more appealing flavors of snack bars for children in schools. Subsequently, they aim to develop a special label design that will be more engaging for the children.

One of the traditional and cultural breakfast dishes that are renowned in Islamic and Arab countries.

The mother box follows the label design to create a corporate design.

The product is an Arabic dish which is one of the favorites in Arab countries' cuisine. This product is often mixed with syrups. The competitor research has shown us that the package should be bold and detectable on the shelves of the stores, so by using the brand's red color and a white pattern, the design becomes bold and unique.

One of the most challenging products in the project. The product is one of the old and famous products in Arab and Muslim countries, which is a historic food from their old times. Designing for these types of food products is always challenging because you should comprehend the culture alongside the actual product and the methods and steps of the production process. Through this design, I have tried to focus on Islamic culture through Islamic motifs, which you can find in historical buildings and mosques. The name of the product was one of the focus points for which I designed a typeface to be bold, readable, minimal, and modern. On the other hand, because of the sharp corners, it resembles some Islamic ancient designs.

Design labels, Packaging, Photography, Print supervision

It has been a challenging project due to the products itself. These products have a history in certain cultures and countries, leading to various challenges related to cultural differences and habits in specific regions around the world, that require a precise research. On the other hand, I have had to blend modernity and minimalism with tradition to enhance the design's appeal while also respecting the cultures and lifestyles in the target areas. The market is mature, and competitors have been present for a long time, bringing extensive experience. During the brainstorming phase, I came up with an idea to explore paths that competitors have never ventured into due to the associated risks and their reluctance to experiment. However, in today's era of modernization, design trends evolve, requiring some courage from the designer and a supportive client to ride the wave.
